Bombay Biryani Recipe | Famous Chicken Biryani with Potatoes Recipe By Chef Mehboob | MasalaTV
Bombay Biryani Written Recipe :
Ingredients:
Chicken meat 1 kg
Basmati rice 1 kg
Onion (slice) 4medium
Tomatoes (chopped) 3 medium
Potatoes (two pieces from the middle) 3
Mint (finely chopped) 1/4 cup
Coriander (finely chopped) 1/4 cup
Ginger paste 1-1/2 tbsp
Garlic paste 1-1/2 tbsp
Green chillies 6 to 7
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Yogurt (beaten) 1 cup
Oil 1 cup
Bombay biryani masala 1 packet
Recipe:
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions until golden. Keep 1 to 2 tablespoons of fried onions aside. Fry the tomatoes in the same oil, when they become soft and the oil separates, add meat, crushed garlic, and ginger and fry for 1 minute. Then add curd, potato, and Bombay biryani masala, fry for 5 to 7 minutes. Now add water cover on low flame and cook till the meat is cooked. Then cook on high flame till the oil separates. Now add green chilies and keep them aside. Put 3 liters of water in a pan, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt, and boil them.
Then add soaked basmati rice. If the rice is more than half cooked, take it out and strain the water. Now spread the prepared spices, green coriander, and mint in two layers on the rice. Then add fried onion, yolk color, and lemon juice and cover it. First, cook for 3 minutes on high flame. Then keep it on low flame for 15 minutes. When the rice is cooked, mix well and serve with yogurt raita.
