Bengal cats are indeed wonderful but we know the word wonderful can go both ways – wonderful creatures or wonderful disasters. Bengal cats are beautiful cats and have become more and more popular over the years. However, not many people are prepared to handle a Bengal cat with all of its energy and quirks.

"A regular cat might meow to get what they want; a bengal cat is going to yowl like someone is trying to kill them." -- truer words were never spoken 🤣🤣😂

They’re basically lovable, gorgeous, highly intelligent little monster devils. 🐾

As a bengal owner I must say this man is 100% right even in small details. Incredible observation of bengal's behaviour.

This video is very accurate, I have a 7 month old Bengal Tyson, and he truly just wants to play. I redirect him and we work on tricks, he's an amazing animal. I live in a small apartment and also got an excercise wheel as well as lots to climb on. The most magnificent animal I've ever had!

I have a Bengal who was in several other homes before mine. It took her a long time to settle in. I think she was traumatized. But she is my little buddy now. I love her to pieces. She plays at night with my yellow tabby. They run through the house, up and over the furniture. She sits on the stool at the kitchen island and talks to me! Sleeps on my bed, loves “pats and purrs!”. So glad I got her. Who knows what might have happened, had I not taken her on.

Great video. I have 2 bengals a blue and a brown and they are very vocal about what they want. If they are raised with attention they will be in great shape.

When my bengals is bothering me. I tell him I want to hug him. He doesn’t like hugs. He knows what the word hugs means. He takes off.

Just have 2 of them. Or none at all. They will play and stimulate each other. Also they will be a lot happier together.

My (rescue) Bengal. Came to me as an indoor cat. But she rapidly chose the outdoor life. She goes out when she likes (even walking on the roof of my house and my neighbours house). She likes to go for walks and even demands walks. She really really hates dogs and growls at them. She has no problems with other cats but will defend herself if she is attacked. A scratching post (heavy duty) is a must. And she does cuddle even curling up next to me on the bed sometimes. She is a real character.

I don't have a Bengal but I have a high energy cat with all the characteristics of a Bengal and I'm thinking about moving from a house to a smaller townhouse or apartment. Thanks for showing that your cats can be happy in a small space. Also, I don't think people really understand the importance of matching cats energy when getting two cats. We got a second cat as a playmate but he was so lazy and wouldn't play with our high energy one. Also because the new cat was more dominant our high energy cat wasn't getting the play he needed. We had to give the second cat to my partner's parents. I wish we fully understood that two cats should be the same energy before we adopted the second one. So important!

Very good video. I have a 1.5 year old male Bengal Cat and I can relate to really everything you said. He is a big trouble maker, but the cutest and most affectionate cat I have ever had in 30 years of owning normal house cats. In my opinion Bengals are less aggressive than other breeds. They are just active and playful, which is often mistaken as being aggressive. When we have small kids over, my Bengal shows the most patients with them I have ever seen a cat showing. He doesnt react at all when his tail is being pulled or he gets hit accidently. There is nothing of these things that make him mad or attack.

On the other side, he sometimes starts to bite when I pet him. But it is clearly only playing. He starts to carefully take my hand and bites very softly and looks at me like: "Is that ok for you, I really want to do that, but I dont want to hurt you." When I tell him to stop, he stopps right away and starts to lick me, like he is really sorry hurting me. After like 2 minutes he starts to bite very softly again. That is really hilarious. The intelligence and the way Bengal interact with us humans is so much different to normal cats. I wouldn't change him for anything, even though he is a lot of work and I spend way too much money for toys, which he ruins after just a few minutes.

I took 4 month old bengal cat and i really wasn't prepared for it. I needed a cat quick since my older house cat was dead bored and me being at work so often. Well now i have this hyper active ball of energy climbing on everything and trying to reach everything she can see. She enjoys company but doesnt like to be on my lap

I have 2 Bengals. One 9 month male one 6 month female. The female is definitely more “bengal” than the male in terms of behavior. The most bengal thing Mr Beerus does is he is very vocal, mr demanding. Whether it be the sun is up human open my shades!! His favorite thing to do is bird watch out the window on his tree. But overall he is a very chill cat aside from his few bursts of energy through the day. The female however she is all up in everything 😂. I can’t open my fridge without her trying to jump inside to inspect, she is constantly wanting to play and seeking attention - she’s like a little Labrador and will play fetch with you all day long if you let her. She talks back. She plays in the bath. But overall these two kitties are so amazing. I love them so much ; my number one recommendation for potential bengal owners- TOYS! Play time - kitty puzzles, cat trees and if you can a wheel! Regardless, please play with your cats! I truly believe a lot of “bad behavior” could easily be solved if people just took time out of their day to help them exercise that energy out. Love my puppy cats ❤

My bengal is 6 months old....pray for me!!!! He's wide open 24/7. I have 2 miniature pinschers and a siamese so my house has turned into a race track. They love chasing each other.

I love bengals, my boyfriend has a bengal called Eartha and she is wonderful. When he lived in the country she would go outside all the time and hunt however since moving to town she’s become a house cat. She’s very happy. Although she is sometimes clumsy! She tried to leap from the balcony to the banister and fell down the stairs! And sometimes she doesn’t make the jump but mostly she’s just vocal and energetic !

Me waking up at 3am, cause my cat is going into the cupboards. I thought I had rats for the longest time.. nope just my bengal getting into the bread! If you live in a small apartment I would just suggest leash training your cat. My one cat loved to go to work with me and in car rides!

Thank you for the info and links. My bengal isn't super active but he gets quite bored and has been annoying my other cat more lately. I need to get some "catification" done to challenge his mind. I bookmarked your website and appreciate the product links there.
