Η Τζένη Αρσένη μιλάει για την Μελίνα Μερκούρη

“Ένα κράμα πόνου και ομορφιάς, αυτός ο συνδυασμός είναι η Μελίνα, είναι η Ελλάδα, είμαστε εμείς, είναι η ζωή”.

Με τα παραπάνω λόγια, μεταξύ άλλων, εξέφρασα τι σημαίνει για εμένα η Μελίνα Μερκούρη, τον Μάιο του 2019, όπου είχα την τιμή να μιλήσω στο γαλλικό κανάλι ARTE για εκείνη.

Σήμερα, ημέρα μνήμης και συγκίνησης, παραθέτω ένα απόσπασμα από το ντοκιμαντέρ “Melina Mercouri, reine d’ Athènes – Invitation au voyage” της Sonia Dauger, ARTE TV, Γαλλία:

Για τη Μελίνα του πάθους, που δε φοβόταν, που ενέπνευσε πολλούς από εμάς στην τέχνη και τη ζωή. Τα γυρίσματα έγιναν στον Πειραιά, που με την απεραντοσύνη του ενώνει την Ελλάδα με ολόκληρο τον κόσμο.

Οι συνεντεύξεις έγιναν στα ελληνικά, υπάρχει γαλλική μεταγλώττιση, αλλά ακούγεται ο λόγος.

"A fusion of pain and beauty, this combination is Melina, it is Greece, it is us, it is life".

With the above words, among others, I expressed what Melina Mercouri means to me in May 2019, where I had the honor to speak on the French channel ARTE about her.

Today, a day of remembrance, full of emotions, I present an excerpt from the documentary "Melina Mercouri, reine d 'Athènes - Invitation au voyage" by Sonia Dauger, ARTE TV, France:

For Melina of passion, who was not afraid, who inspired many of us in both art and in life. The shooting took place in Piraeus, which with its vastness unites Greece with the whole world.

The interviews were held in Greek, with French dubbing, yet the original sound is heard.
