Thank you for making the point about pre-1933 gold. It's classification for tax purposes as a "collectible" instead of "bullion" is just a legalism that can be changed the next the government of the day wants to confiscate gold or compel its sale at an undervalue to the government. Viewers beware of the channel hosts and guests who talk it up as though it cannot be confiscated. One other point for viewers to beware: most people talk of "door to door" confiscation of gold. Of course the likelier confiscation will be at the depositories and dealers who have inventory, not door to door.

really enjoy this latest member to your collection of guests. He brings an interesting viewpoint. Yes, the hardwood that came with houses a hundred years ago is nowhere to be found, unless you build custom and demand it. That being said, the artisans to craft all this are gone.
