correct me if I'm wrong. for 3 wire ac motor with single capacitor, should we plug the com wire to neutral, 2 other wires from motor plus live to capacitor? or can we change the live and neutral? or it makes no difference?

Hello, I have exactly the same engine you are demonstrating ...There are four wires coming out of the engine, a pair of red and orange, and a red and orange pair ... I have no idea how to connect them.can you help me?best regards

Im having trouble. I bought a 2 horse compressor motor to upgrade my table saw. I het everything hooked up, lined up just right and find the motor turns in the wrong direction. It says on the motor that its non reversable. Im having trouble because i see alot of videos saying its posdible and ppl doing it but none with the motor like mine. I have a start and a run capacitor. Plz help. I cut through very carefully all of the glue and heat shrink so i coukd telk which wires ran to the smaller wires which ive learned function its, start. Pkz help as i need my saw working and to know i didnt just waste my money

We did the same wirings and during testing, the motor becomes high ampere. But when we reverse the wirings (We make the high Resistance main coil which is 10.5 Ohms. the startinh coil resistance is 4.5 ohms) The motor went normal.
It says here that the main or running coil has Low reading of Resistance. What was happening?
