I am a big band nerd so it stood out. In general a parade band has the trombones and trumpets towards the front (trombones because they’re long, and trumpets because they look good)
The drums and tubas together in the back or in the middle.
The saxes/clarinets/flutes are kinda just plopped wherever else they fit, but grouped together.
