Crazy how fast some of these cars are almost stock. My boy has a competition m8, with just down pipe exhaust intake and tune on e-85 he’s at almost 1000hp, unless he’s lying but he’s killing most cars out here at the moment, and from the dig it’s a rocket.

With further research, I’ve concluded that the time was a 8.81s with a black G80 M3

Guys lets focus on the engine. 3.0l displacement VVT&VVL valve train, forged deck aluminum body and an aluminum cylinder head which can take as much punishment as throw at it and it wouldn’t even bother heating up, making a whopping 480 foot pounds of torque. Paired with a twin turbo set-up. Its only logical that when you make that much boost if you just change the injectors tune the damn thing, its gonna be a rocket ship. Pair that with a probable camshaft upgrade (which drastically increases power) as well as an oil cooler and a catch can and you’ve got yourself a 100, 000$ dollar car(20k over msrp with the upgrades) that can do well in the 8.5 second quarter mile. So its pretty safe to say that the B58 and the S58 are the upgraded versions of the 2JZ.
