I was living in Brooklyn Heights when the Towers were hit. I was 10 years old, and saw it from my Bedroom window. Everyone was so scared. At first we thought we were at war. It was the saddest thing to ever see. When everyone in NYC came together to put it all back together, Jay-Z performed many concerts, sang in clubs, and spoke out to help NYC. Our city may have been destroyed, our confidence shaken, but people from all over the Country came to our aid. At that time, I was too young to understand how wonderful everyone was, but now I see it so clearly. We are all part of the United States of America. This is our land. We must stand together always and never let hatred, cruelty, racism, white privilege, etc. come between us. God Bless you all.
