The fiance and I were at Target Saturday and we found and picked two of these one for each of us already . We still like the size of our Jen 1 Nightingale over this one that's the reason why I didn't get the gem 2 Nightingale because it was so bulky.
I'm using the Dart Zone red rubies and those seem to be very good for all around performance without breaking your bank Bank losing the new Venom darts.

The original nightingale is way better. By 'original, ' I mean the semi-auto one. The full-auto version is even better. The venom is a cheap toy compared to the nightingale 1.0 or 2.0, but that's to be expected when you compare worker and nerf, or anyone else for that matter.

Disappointing it's automatic and not semi-automatic. Who wants to unload the entire mag in 4 seconds, then spend 5-10 min looking for and picking up the small green color darts in the grass and still losing some of them, and then reloading the mag. I much prefer to make every shot count to maximize the fun for the effort. And yes I know you can do quick presses but that's a distraction and occasionally two will be launched for one press so you end up miscounting the darts left in the mag. Also not a big fan of palm based rev button. Should have been integrated into the trigger itself: light press revs up, full press launch. So simple Duh!
