The best homemade mosquito spray is 10 drops each of essential oils, orange, grapefruit and lemon in a pint of witch hazel. Smells amazing and works awesome.

Great video, thank you! I also have been researching & learning about herbal medicine & homeopathy. As a retired RN I became very disappointed in our allopathic system a few years ago, and I was sure there had to be a better way than using pharmaceuticals for every little thing. Greetings from Leesburg FL! Love your channel.

I really like your video! 🍃very informative!
Just a suggestion..if you rub or use a mortar & pestle ..volatile oils release..giving more potentcy to your tincs etc..

Love your video! Idea: use a measuring cup with a spout to heat and pour the lip balms.

I find this very interesting. I'm going to try growing a few of these to start making my own tinctures. I would love for you to do more of these. Thanks again, love all your videos.

I love making my own medicine and body products. Im growing borage this year so will research this more. A tincture made with liquor has a indef shelf if stored correctly is what I have heard. I have been making my cold n flu tincture for 12yrs which is elderberry tincture 9 times out of 10 it knocks out the cold. I make lemon balm infused oil to make my lip balm since I suffer from cold sores. Look forward to more videos.

Lemongrass is phenomenal for all kinds of mosquitoes and areas flying insect repellent. It does not send your pollinators away, which is a big pro if you using it in gardening.

Homeopathy is the way forward. I treat my cat with remedies since wasting so much money on vets and not getting an answer or cure, so i researched, did a course, got the remedies and the cat is so much better health now, only small cough once a day. From hardly being able to breathe at all, it's a miracle

I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing! I live up in northern Canada, near Whitehorse Yukon. I love to forage for wild plants just outside our home. I have infused Arnica flowers & Dandelions mixed with some store bought Comfrey. I made a great pain relief salve & it works great! We have lots of wild strawberries, raspberries, blueberries & saskatoons too. So much that we can pick for free! The wild roses will be great for facial recipes, red clover for teas. Natural is the best way to go ❤

LOVE this video! We have so much in common! former IT PM, holistic wellness & I realized 30 yrs ago I don’t have a good relationship with alcohol. I switched about 7 years to natural holistic wellness, including organic food & products and haven’t been ill. I also love sharing what a difference it’s made to my health. I love making DIY natural. My goal this year was to make medicinal tinctures & teas! Your video will help me get started! I have ashwagandha, calendula, roselle, ginger, thyme, oregano, lemon balm in my garden. Not enough tho so need tips to grow an abundance. I also thought if I dried the flowers (ashwagandha I believe I harvest roots in fall) I have to use dehydrator? I heard you don’t want to dry out to avoid mold? And pls tell me how to use roselle I have some fruit on the plant, I believe after it flowers u can use? I’m so looking forward to your upcoming videos and learning more 😁. Thank u so much for sharing this info!
