6:35 “There’s also one month left in September.” WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??

FSD v12.5.1 is killing it in every one of my mountainous, winding, blind, narrow, steep, curvy dirt road challenge courses in northern New England. After the difficulties 12.3.6 still had, this 12.5 is a revelation.

A couple years ago I remember walking out of the grocery store as a guy walked off the sidewalk in front of a car that was just pulling up. The car stopped with room to spare, and then he got into the driver seat. My brain took a moment to compute that it was a Tesla, and that he didn't sit on someones lap, but that the car drove up to pick him up. Like everything Tesla lately, it's absolutely reality altering to see with your own eyes.

Need to also start punishing recyclers who buy cut cables.

About busses- A bus can take say 40 people at $2, 50 each. Even if R/T is slightly more expensive, say $3, 50 you will need 40 Robotaxi's to take 40 people. These passengers will all hail a ride from their homes. you now have expenses and costs for 40 cars. Then add that there's 100 busses scattered all over a city, you now need 4, 000 Robotaxis to handle them when calls come in within 15 min of each other (They all want to get to work) R/T WILL NOT replace Mass transit. (Busses / Trains)

People want to think that banning Chinese cars and software is a conspiracy theory, but remember when BYD customers planned a protest at the company headquarters and BYD bricked all the cars that they knew to be part of the protest. They could do that to cars in the USA or EU.

On the cutting of cables, my take is that it should be regulated who may cell copper.

Why don't EV charger manufacturers make the charge cable retract inside the charger and lock in place? They can have it unlock via a code in their app or on the charger after account verification.

I'm really not that excited about A.S.S. personally as I like getting steps in and being outside but this really is such an important feature for Tesla working toward enabling robotaxis. The pickoff/dropoff situation is going to be an incredible challenge and as Smart Summon progresses it will help Tesla crack this code :)

I had two navigation failures on FSD 12.5.2 hdw3 today. The first failure left the freeway and exited to a dead end.
The 2nd missed a busy exit and lined up for a left turn instead. Both required interventions and alternate routing.
This was after two flawless drives. 😅

$50 bucks is $45 more than required to motivate a Crankster to risk it's life.

Just installed FSD 12.5.4 …in my first daily drive of 20 miles, all my typical annoying lane selection blunders (which usually lead to a disengagement) did not occur … a good start

The point about Musk saying that Teslas can work well above the Arctic circle has a particular importance. It's not just that Teslas can work efficiently in cold temperatures. It's that they have to work efficiently on other planets. And to put it in perspective, this includes the Semi, Cybertruck and machines for the Boring company all working outside of the Earth. The ONLY source of energy outside of the Earth is solar or nuclear. Either way, they must be efficient in extreme conditions.
Everything... literally everything has always been about Mars.
