I just can't imagine anyone else playing Aragorn better than Viggo, perfect casting choice indeed.

What, I didn't know that Diego was suppose to die in Ice Age. That's kind of crazy, and here I thought he was gonna get unceremoniously killed off back when I use to watch that a movie as a child. Personally, I'm glad that he survived.

I think it's fair to say that most if not all of these last-minute changes basically saved the movies or made them better. The former definitely for Sonic

The ending for Shawshank Redemption was originally meant to be the scene where Red is heading off on the bus. They added the scene where Red and Andy met on the beach to give closure to the audience.

Thank goodness they didn't kill off Diego. He and Manny turned out to be my favorite characters of the whole series whether I watch all of them Or some of the movies. The latter is true btw

So basically he came down with dysentery was just like "I'm too lazy and sick to go do that" and then "POW" he did that. Comedic timing I say it's perfect. He had the whole "ain't nobody got time for that" look

Bringing back Palpatine in TROS. It was not JJ Abrams' Decision it was Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm executives' decision. Along with Rey Being a Skywalker, that was admit by Lucasfilm executive Pablo hidalgo and said Its for their purposes.

Thank God they changed it we probably wouldn't have had the iconic wolverine. Although that is debatable because now no one can see anyone else play wolverine But him. good for our childhoods, bad for the future

The ending of Superman:The Movie (originally the end for the sequel) and the ending of Final Destination are two important last minute changes that immediately come to mind.

What about the shawarma scene in THE AVENGERS. The original scene with RDJ was supposed to be him coming back from space and saying “so, what’s next?” But he thought it would be more interesting if he said the line while they were out to eat. He literally had the director do a rewrite. This was after the movie’s first premiere, too. RDJ was probably genuinely hungry, as he used to hide snacks in scenes so he could grab them if he got hungry (when he offered Loki, the Hulk and Captain America the blueberries, that was all improve).

as much as i'm "meh" about the Xmen franchise, the Jackman casting is the clear #1, with Viggo being #2. neither franchise would have had the same impact without these actors. Rogue One was actually a fairly strong film before the cherry-on-top of Vader badassery. (my fave of the franchise after the real first three, the purported first three being less loveable than the latest trilogy mess...) finding out Viggo's character is actually in his late 80's (elvish blood in the line) isn't a stretch. but the broadway actor transmogrified into an antihero from cold hell (ever been to northern alberta in winter- colder than the arctic, i swear) was awesome.

Frankenstein Meets The Wolf-Man starring Bela Lugosi as the Monster

The Monster was supposed to be blind but a bad test screening caused Universal to order the removal of all mentions of the Monster being blind but none of his scenes were reshot so he still feels around as he walks just like a blind person. This resulted in the now iconic Frankenstein walk.
