REMASTERED violin+piano: Bleach Never Meant to Belong

For a long time, I shared sheet music and tutorials I had transcribed by ear to help others learn. I did it with good intent, but over time I realized that even without copying from scores, those transcriptions were still derivative works. That matters. It matters to the composers and arrangers working hard to support their families and protect their rights.

So I took it all down.

No one made me. I wasn’t threatened or flagged. I’ve spent months studying copyright, licensing, and the ethical use of AI and music. That clarity now guides what I share. I'm applying the same standard to everything going forward.

What that looks like:
- Full performances of public domain works
- Educational excerpts under fair use, with clear commentary
- Credit to living composers and arrangers
- No monetization of copyrighted material
- No shortcuts, no gray zones

my entire family is very musical so at a young age i was given violin lessons but i hated them so much and quit. i was also super disrespectful to the conductor and my private tutor lmao one time i even poked the tutors eye with my bow RIP yea i was a bit of a stupid kid. but then i heard your first "never meant to belong" oh god i cried for like all of it and thats when i came to respect the violin. i became a good kid and practiced like 4+ hours a day and got into the top orchestra at my high school (there were 6 total orchestras and the top one gets to go to new york). i played in carniege hall and its an experience of my life i will never forget. so thank you, you were the first and very crucial step in me enjoying life to its fullest. thank you with all my heart.

You're old cover sounded like the violin was crying in anguish (in a good way, i mean figuratively). In this cover it sounds like a memory, like it's an almost more dignified or resigned sadness, if that makes sense. I don't know how else to describe what I mean.

The slides you did were all so subtle but perfectly timed, use of legato was very pronounced, the sound was exceptionally clean and wholesome, use of diminuendos and crescendos to increase impact - simply beautiful

Lovely stuff Ben, please do more remasters! It's been so long since I've heard your older awesome covers. Hearing them remastered might help tremendously. Back then Anime wasn't as big as it is now, so perhaps it might even attract newer people to the channel. Your talent is unmatched, so get going with those old Naruto/Bleach OSTs :)

I remembered watching you in high school so I decided to check up on your youtube again and was surprised to see this... Never Meant to Belong was definitely the piece I knew you most for, brings back memories. I got goosebumps back then and I'm getting them now too!
