Hello! My name is Leona, and I am 12 years old. I was determined to go to an Ivy League school because my cousin went to Yale and is now a doctor.
I used to want to go to Yale, but then I found this college!
I want to attend University of Chicago very badly. I want to major in Epidemiology, and I know that I can't get accepted into University of Chicago unless I try really hard. So, what my mom, dad, and I do is buy some workbooks from the store and study really hard every Saturday and days off of school.
Hopefully I will attend there in the near future!

I react the same way to my junior college as this girl. I love all my classes, my major, and all the people I've met here! This is a university for me!

Just received my acceptance to get my Masters in social work here this fall and I could not be more excited.

I'm In 5 clubs(president of one), and by senior year I would have taken 6 AP classes(plus jazz band, band and chorale), end in top 15% of my class with a 3.88 GPA and I have a passion for astronomy. Even with those stats, I feel I have a 2% chance of getting in....make that 1%. This school is crazy hard to get into, but it's so awesome.

My father went to Northwestern. Northwestern's Econ Department tends toward the Freshwater side as well. Northwestern is simply less political. University of Chicago is noted for its conservatism.

Hell yeah I'm accepting! The only other places I applied were Harvard regular (a very slim chance for anyone), Cornell regular (probably got in) and Northwestern's HSME (probably didn't get in). Chicago was my top choice, and I got into University Scholars, so I can afford, so I'm going to UChicago for sure. I'm planning to major in Biological Chemistry, and I want to join the Big Problem interdisciplinary program.

Brilliant University. Probably the best if (like me) you want to double major in math and eco. Its placed in the top three math and eco grad and undergrad rankings most of the time (1 in eco more often than not) as well as the top business school (economist and businessweek) and is a top 5 Physics and Law school as well. In physics you also get Fermi Lab and Aggrone right in your backyard. It boasts the most nobel prizes and fields medals as well as fullbright and rhodes scholars.
