A formation of jets with the Inspiration4 crew members aboard flies by launch complex 39A on Monday afternoon, where their Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon capsule stand ready for launch.

The mission is commanded by Jared Isaacman, a billionaire who paid SpaceX for the three-day flight. Isaacman is a civilian pilot with experience flying high-performance fighter jets. He will be joined on the flight by Sian Proctor, 51, a private pilot and science educator with a master’s degree in geology, Hayley Arceneaux, a 29-year-old physician assistant at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Chris Sembroski, a 42-year-old data engineer from the Seattle area.

The Inspiration4 mission is the centerpiece of a charity-focused project designed, in part, to raise $200 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a nonprofit institution devoted to treating children with cancer and other pediatric diseases.

The launch window for Inspiration4 on Wednesday opens at 8:02 p.m. EDT (0002 GMT Thursday) and closes at 1:13 a.m. EDT (0513 GMT).
