Andrew Wolf, MD, is an internal medicine physician taking care of patients of all ages to provide comprehensive and preventative care. He practices taking care of the whole patient to address any health issues and care.

My name is Andy Wolf. I’m an internal medicine physician. I’m a general internist, that is care of the adult patient, from adolescents on up through 90 to 100 and over. I provide comprehensive care for patients of this age group.

I think I must have known that I wanted to be a doctor from the age of five, or so. And that interest in taking care of the whole patient never left me. It’s the relationships with my patients. It’s the challenges and opportunities and joys, victories, defeats, that I travel with my patients throughout their lives that makes me fulfilled every day.

So, a new patient coming to me, first, of course, we’d establish a database about all of the medical problems they’ve had, as well as the issues they want to address today. I integrate that with the issues that I want to address, meaning their preventive care issues. Well, at UVA we really provide comprehensive care for the whole patient. So, if I can’t take care of your needs, I know that I have someone here, or a team here, that can.
