For most home owners you have stuff you can easily bring up to the attic. But then there is this one item that causes you to misstep and hurt your hands on this ladder or twist an ancle. This set up is what I call dumb it down setup, a simple low cost safe solution which more than adequate solves a problem. My goal is to drag the container a little further into the attic and add a "roller bearing" where the ladder pivots onto the attic floor so I can move the hoist further back and not grind the cable into the floor.
