Believe it or not this applies to playing musical instruments because if you want to become really good you have to be very patient/practice for hours on end & when it comes to let's say playing cards or a guitar solo or a sweet slap bass or finger style solo, it's all about taking your time & doing it as smoothly as possible...

It may seem boring & repetitive as I too I'm onky human & I want to learn some great bass line but the real magic happens when you play all the notes smoothly over & over again at a slow pace...
You can dictate the pace & if you think you need to slow your moves down or much a step then that's your choice...

The real trick to learning anything is patience & doing the moves as slow as your comfortable with & then once you've got that mastered start speeding it up in increments...
That's the great thing about the human body & that's is muscle memory & the more you work on it the better you will become until it's like breathing & your doing those movies without even thinking about them...

I'd like to add that Now You See Me & Now You See Me 2 rekindled our wonder in the art of magic & another magical thing to do is to play instruments & by doing this your keeping music alive...

Don't be one of those people that keeps saying to themselves I've buy an (whatever) instrument & start playing next week only to find 30 years have gone by & in that space of time you would have accomplished this but yet you keep saying next week I'll do it, Do It Now...

Whether that's learning magic/an instrument/many various sports or wanting to become a nurse or a doctor...

I know it's corny but:
" Dream Big & Not Little "

You will be amazed at what you found out about yourself & the talent you have, all you need to do is find out what that particular positive talent is & go for it & even if you have no aspirations to take what you've learned except for your own enjoyment, then do so...

In light of this still ongoing coronavirus outbreak stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world...

Normally I front add this after i type my last part above but while we are all prisoners of this Covid-19 now would be a great time to kill those hours by practising some form of artistic entertainment or further your studies... Us this negative down time as a positive way to set yourself some goals & even if you don't meet them then at least you can pay yourself on the back & say at least I tried & don't be discouraged at the first hurdle that you fell over, keep going & see what awaits you at the end of all your hard work...

You can do a similar maneuver by holding the top right corner in between your ring and middle finger and pushing back on the bottom right with your thumb
