Autocad Tutorial: How to Group and Ungroup objects

Hi All, Todays video is the first of a new kind of videos I'm going to be making and sprinkling in with the longer tutorials I make. This is a 2 minute: Tip, Trick or Tutorial video and in them I'll be covering a basic command or trick that will help make you a better drafter in ~2 minutes. This way you can learn something new, and not have to spend a lot of time learning it.

So, In the first 2min video I explain how to easily make groups of objects in autocad and then how to ungroup these objects. A benefit of grouping objects is that it can help you keep similar objects together and makes it easy to select, move or copy them within your drawing.

Issue:
After using the GROUP command in AutoCAD to group several objects together, when trying to select the group, the individual items within the group are selected instead of the entire group. It does not seem that a group exists for the objects or the GROUP command failed to work.
Causes:
PICKSTYLE (System Variable) is set to 0.
Solution:
On the command line in AutoCAD, type PICKSTYLE and set the value to 1.

Looks like you need to put your camera on Manual to keep the focus from shifting when you move. Just use the auto settings to get your base settings and dial those in to manual. Then your focus will stay.

If you create a group, can you systematically order autocad to detect the same patterns in the rest of the drawing, and autogroup those ?

Grouping is not working for me, I type group and it opens an entity grouping tab, can't really do anything with it I've played with this feature for a while now

Not sure about the music over talking at intro and the end. Makes it hard for me to listen to you. Love your vids btw. Are there specifics when you should not use grouping? Apart from making a block when you may want to change attributes on a model.
