The one thing I'll day about the Dark Knight is it sat a bad precedent. Grounded superhero movies. We haven't been able to get such tragic and heartbreaking villians such as Mr. Freeze because every Batman story is grounded now. I LOVE The Batman (it's actually probably my favourite movie of all time) and I can't wait to see it continue on into part II & III. The Penguin was great too. But I also can't wait to see what fantastical stories we're going to get in the DCU now. James Gunn has me sold after that new Superman trailer. To be honest, I was kind of sold after The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. But I was worried that tone would be all he could do. I'm glad I was wrong.

Dark Knight isn’t even the best movie in the trilogy. It has the best performance, but Begins is a more complete film and better in every way other than Heath Ledger’s performance.
