This is a great exercise. I heard this idea from Korean pianist Jimindorothy, who did the second version but without trying to make it a tune and melody; she put it out as a freeform exercise for "opening your ear" by not trying to force "correct" or even good chords. Great for helping to expand the kind of sounds you can make.

Been doing this exercise for years ever since hearing it from Keezer...some voicings have made their way into my arrangements permanently. I like to do circle of 5ths in the left hand for functionality. But that descending line sounds amazing, I'll be trying that next time.
