Parents, stepbrother arrested in ‘disturbing’ child abuse case

Police arrested Ethan Washburn, accusing him of punching and strangling the child on several occasions inside his parent’s home on Wesminister Circle.

I was a foster child with Catholic Charities in Chicago and a survivor of abuse by the monsters they placed me with.
I remember praying to God to have someone, anyone to save me and the other foster child from them. I tried telling the doctor at Catholic Charities, school (once I was old enough), neighbors, no one ever came. Once my fosters found out, I was beat, she bashed my head against drywall and put my head through it, then tied me by my hands to my bed for days.
My point is, when a child tries to let you know they are being violated (there was sexual abuse as well) and abused, HELP THEM!!! They are scared, hurt, powerless and beat into submission.
PLEASE DO NOT INFORM THE GUARDIAN S WHAT THE CHILD SAID FIRST.
The horrors that await them are beyond comprehension. Thank you for reading this comment.

Bless this baby. He knew that he was in danger. He had no where to turn and no one to run to. The cold hard streets were more comforting to him than his own family. A lil 10 year old had to make that choice. What a brave lil boy.

I pray this child is placed in a caring compassionate foster home. I pray the foster home is closely monitored to insure this child is no longer abused by anybody.

From now on, that little boy needs to be surrounded by love. He needs to know that the world can be kind, and he needs to aknowlege, out loud that his parents are despicable and not representative of all parents. Also, the house should be seized and held in trust for him when he turns 18 to make his life just a bit easier.

It normally is only one child sectioned out for abuse. Only by knowing their family dynamics will it tell us why this boy.

The “step brother” is an adult. So, three ADULTS made the choice, every second of every day for months, to torture this child. Think of all the opportunities they had to stop and make a different choice, but didn’t. It’s attempted 1st degree murder. Period. 😡😡😡
