I shop food lion also, I've noticed prices rising alot past month especially, some.40 to .50 at a time. Food Lion is only local store unless I go 8 miles one way to walmart.

Feel your pain over the fingernail. A couple of weeks ago I was slicing potatoes with a mandolin slicer. The potato slipped and my thumb went into the mandolin. Sliced a huge chunk off. Took me forever to get the bleeding to stop.
