Years ago, my cat saved me, and my other, by waking me up. My had a gas leak, when a line broke off. She jumped on me, howled, and bit me. I miss her

I have PTSD and when I'm having a particularly bad time, my cats will always be _extra_ affectionate and stay very close by until I feel better - even if it takes a couple days.

Animals just know things. I don't know how. But I can say that my cats saved me. I have bipolar disorder and through the episodes I've had since I got them, they are by my side, doing what they can to keep me calm. I have in the past had an affinity towards self harm. My cats have kept me free of those tendencies for 10 years.

The first rat is actually part of APOPO's Hero Rats, a great initiative that got international recognition, and those rats are trained for sniffing out mines, TBC and now they expanded even if sniffing out illegal animal parts like pangolin scales to stop the illegal animal trade. Check it out, it's pretty amazing. The rats are giant african pouched rats.

Back in the day(1980) our dog Einstein stopped burglars breaking into our house when we had to leave (after we forgot our child care classes) by barking when the burglars tried to break into our home. The insurance company rewarded us with a case of dog food. Way to go Einstein XX
