This is still a huge hangup for me, I found its better to lean too far forward if you are gonna bail on these! I cant quite get the balance on anything taller than a parking block lol

i always thought you had to push forward to counter the drag. its no wonder im busting elbows lmao

Speed is the second one i think. It's so much easier to balance and stay on. It's fine to go slow when you're working on getting on and leaning forward a bit but once you have that, holding and getting out of a fast boardslide is much easier than a slow one. Just like with manuals and other balance tricks.
