Thank you so much. I have a script for my video, and just want to create a SRT file from it, synched with the video. I couldn't really find any information on how. So much info on auto transcription, but not converting text transcripts. Someone recommended Descript but I thought it was just another auto transcription tool. This didn't work. I can't get the option to import the transcript file to come up after importing the video. This is why I find video tutorials endlessly frustrating, nothing ever functions in real life as it does on the video.

Hi, David. Good job there. Just what I was looking for. Any alternative to Descript that allows one to import a TXT file transcript? My computer is 32-bit and the Descript software is only available in 64-bit.

This is awesome thanks! The only thing is mine is auto transcribing. I don't get the option to transcribe from a file, I don't have that little window pop up and it just does it automatically. Which is ok as its pretty accurate. I must be doing something wrong 🤔
