I have a RM 2 and I will buy this one, because it solves my main problem with the RM 2: I use to read scientific articles. But scientific articles have very colorful plots that at the moment I am seeing as shades of grey. So sometimes I need to go back to the computer and see the graph in colour.

A feature that would be nice (that would work with the 2) is having a secure AREA in addition to the initial device security. It's like letting someone into your house, but having your bedroom locked. 'Sure, you can come in, but this area is still off limits.' Could you please pass this idea along to the good people of reMarkable?

I own the 2 and love love love love love it. Like 2 years later I am still amazed when I use it. But not sure I'd need color. So while this is tempting, not sure anyone needs it except like people who need color.

Just upgraded to the RPP after having the R2 since 2021 = absolutely LOVE the RPP. Prior to learning about the R2, I spent about $100 annually on leather bound journals from Barnes&Noble to document all my meetings and ideas. Problem is, I usually had to carry 2-3 with me when traveling in case I needed to reference anything. The R2 changed all that for me forever!! I can organize my folders, sign and email pdf documents, and with the RPP can now conduct presentations and use when on flights with the cabin lights off. Sending my R2 to my daughter - she cannot wait!
