China's New Maglev, High Speed Rail, & What it Means for Belt & Road Partners

China has unveiled a 600kph maglev train that will eventually be used on lines connecting China’s major cities. It is part of the nation’s much larger high speed rail (HSR) network.

I discuss China’s HSR network, the foresight required to implement such an ambitious infrastructure drive, and how the West is trying to foil it both within China’s borders and beyond them as HSR lines begin moving outward as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.

China do not care much about nay-sayers, negativities, envious parties, disruptive forces, et al. It just go on to do what it believed is right. And it proved them wrong with results. But even successful, still the negativity from challenged parties goes on. China's principle is, keep the mouth shut, do the work and let the results speak for itself. It knows, the more successful one is, the more envy and negative reactions are expected.

The chinese high speed trains are reliable, comfortable, clean, fast, frequent and very effortable.
It's MUCH MUCH better than airtravel and traveling by car (and certainly better than bustravel).
When I'm back in Europe I'm always dissappointed by the slow, expensive and not very reliable trains (delays).

UK high price ticket for their high speed railway is a failure, China high speed railway ticket is not about the revenue for the payback, the payback is the volume of passengers, and keeping the economy of the country ticking over, as the now famous Chinese saying goes it's a win win for everyone.

An excellent development in high-speed train technology that will be a great asset in the BRI initiative. China keeps developing whilst the usa keeps destroying. An inferior mind always looks at the fault of others but superior mind builds up and gives benefits to people.
