Just heard joe’s version and I love it, but I do love adele’s Original version. Both have their own play on this song. Joe’s is more like pleading to your girl that you can’t go on without her. Adele’s feels like it’s telling you how much hurt she knows has cost in the relationship. Of course music is a way of genders expressing their feelings even when the lyrics don’t change. It’s all in the feeling expressed when singing. I love Adele and this version is worthy to sing and to be sung by someone like Joe.
