I saw one cooking video of his, and I was hooked. Mostly because of his voice and because of the cooking that he does that anybody can do. His kids must love having him as a dad and cooking for them.

Kev! I just wanna say that words can not express how grateful I am for you and your channel. I've watching you for about 2 years now, and you reignited my love for cooking. I took a culinary class in high school, and It was very discouraging. There are many reasons why I gave up, but he biggest was how harsh they were. They made me think i was bad at cooking, and it only hurt more when the class caught wind of how the teachers felt. I will admit, i love cooking while im stoned, so i usually came into that specific class with a bit of a buzz, but so did the top student who i grew up with! I think they knew and didnt like it. I know I have a good taste for food. Everything that they had me cook was so bland. Our tastes align so well. For real man, I really appreciate you and your vibes. You make cooking chill and fun. Watching your channel has been a real treat!

Should always make more dressing than what you need for mac salads because while the pasta absorbs it in the fridge, the fridge also dries things out. Always, always add extra after chilling/before serving

One of the best dressings I’ve ever had is
1 Cup Mayo
2 Tablespoons Sugar
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Teaspoons Pepper (I usually add more)
It’s so so good basically everything you just used there but mixed together first play with the ingredients a little bit to your liking, but it’s amazing!!!

I use almost the same recipe but add in a little celery seed and a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Looks good!!

Oh never seen that apple cider vinegar trick. I'll be adding that to my recipe. I'm half pacific Islander with family spread out between Hawaii and Guam. I love Hawaiian food, their spin on western foods are so good Locomoco, Mac salad, etc.. Even their spin on Asian foods like spam musubi which is combining east and western, poke, Manapua a take on chinese char sui bao, huli huli Hawaiian teriyaki, etc.. There is a food called Malasadas which I like very much because I am similar to it.

This looks yummy 😋 I make a similar Hawaiian max salad with cubed ham, green onions, fresh pineapple and chopped eggs!! It's the first bowl emptied at every potluck. I am going to make good!

One of my favorite local Hawaiian places put canned tuna in their mac salad, definitely something I recommend trying. Brought it to the next level
