Hans said he never completed the “Batman” theme because in the Nolan trilogy he was never complete. You hear it once in “The Dark Knight” but then the Joker wreaks havoc on Gotham and its never complete again. I love hearing a version where the themes combine into this awesome masterpiece, and what could have been. Great work!

Elfman score was my childhood fav,
Zimmer score grew to be my true fav, this is perf juxtaposition of both.

That mix of both themes between 1:13 and 1:21 is absolutely awesome. Because those strings add more epicness, mystery and Batman's vibe to Hans Zimmer's suspense and spectacular theme

Elfman makes me think of Batman as a whole.

I love the opening of this. The build up to the epic suspension and that resolution. Nice. It's nice to hear a "happy" moment in a Batman theme.

As good as Zimmer/Newton-Howard's theme is, it's hurt by the fact that so many composers today emulate Zimmer's style. It's become so routine. Elfman's music has always been very unique, and his Batman theme stands the test of time.

You know I put my phone down with my headphones on to do stuff expecting a mix of the themes but I was not expecting the rush of adrenaline and joy I felt when that man of steel portion kicked in
