GORGEOUS, I live in Georgia . And I have seen them in the wild here in Georgia . Beautiful, gorgeous creature . Shares a burrow with gopher tortoise . Many other creatures benefit from gopher tortoise burrows .

I love your show; your Indigo has a kind of an Australian elapid look about it 😮

When I was a very young boy, the very first snake I ever met was an Indigo, at the petting zoo they used to have at magic mountain.
It was such I beautiful snake, a dark dark purplish blur that was almost black, and the woman told us it was about getting ready to molt, and it’s eyes were this luminous turquoise blue. I’ve never forgotten that snake.
I really have to come and visit your facility, Jay!!🎉❤

I taught my son and nephew to handle non-venomous snakes. We were in the wild and they caught a big one about six feet long.
We brought it to the house and put it in a curio cabinet in the living room,
And we were just mesmerized with it while we had breakfast.
I believe I was the oddball of the family cuz at the age of about 12
I had a spider collection😊
But my brother's couldn't hack it
and threw my beloved collection
that were pinned to a piece of styrofoam and I could only see it float away. That canalito that's right next to Rosita del Castillo school🥺

I wonder if these are like the black snakes I see around my yard? Pittsburgh area. I leave them be because they keep rodents and copperheads away.

Looks like black onyx. Was bitten by one when moving some stone on my property. Hit me on the ankle and I dragged it a few steps before I realized I was dragging a 5 foot snake behind me! The bite didn’t really hurt. I needed to get a tetanus shot, but that was about it. It was not a pleasant experience, and hope it never happens again. Still, I have such respect for them. No hard feelings. Knowledge of the animals that live around you, is always your best defense.

I guess everything eats everything. Keeps nature in check until humans get involved. Thanks for doing good
