In Episode 8 of the 2016 Skyrim Modding Guide we have part 1 of 2 covering mods that improve the look of your character and NPCs

We'll install Windsong Skyrim Character Overhaul, Inhabitants of Skyrim NPC Overhaul, Coverkhajiits, and the option of two mods that change the appearance of Argonians.

Here's a tip: If you use a large amount of texture mods, try making a Merged Mod-Pack of them all.

UNP is a good place to start for body replacers when modding Skyrim.

Hey, Cal, I did a USLEEP Patch for Inhabitants of Skyrim. It's pretty easy to find on the Nexus. IoS resets almost all of the NPCs it edits to a state that could break some quests or simply makes them behave weird. If it's of any interest to you it's easy to find by searching Nexus for Inhabitants of Skyrim USLEEP.

Xenius Character Enhancement is also a nice NPC overhaul mod. I use that along with WSCO. :)

Ethereal Elves Overhaul, became unstable.

SkySight Skins seams to be a good mod. But it is heavy.

Inhabitants of Skyrim, seams to be a good mod too.

I don't often comment to  you tube vids but I just have to chip in and extend a huge thanks to all the dirty weasels here for setting up a rock solid stable (so far in testing) mod list. I tried an NMM version following closely this series an it was just unstable as hell. I moved on from the end of this list because I need to get a working version of Skyrim running :P Do have a dirty weasel profile tho so as the series advances and more video's are made I can come back too it. Gotta love MO's profiles eh?So far the new fresh install (Via MMO) is rock solid stable with pretty good performance. The UI stuff  and FISS from earlier on has now become a permanent setup for not only this install but all other installs/profiles. Its just so damn convenient an allows you the player/gamer/Modder so much more control. Really looking forward to rest of the series.On topic youll want too include some skeleton mods at some point that are UNP compatible if you plan on stuff like duel sheaths at any point. May also be needed for some of the armour's to work properly I be really interested in how you approach that whole problem. As for textures to each his own. Thanks Cal

At about 19:20 you mention adding an exception to LOOT due to the sorting of WSCO & NPC Overhaul. How do I add said "exception" so that I can continue to run LOOT's sort plugin command without it rearranging it every time ?

I opted for the Feminine and Masculine Khajiit and Argonian textures by MONSTERaider. Much cleaner installs, look really well done, all-in-one packages.

I was looking around and found this mod: Calyps and Nuskas Heroic Form BODY REPLACER
It is supposed to make females look like woman who can, "run a few miles in the snow, bury an axe in several skulls, climb 7, 000 steps, hack a dragon to death, build a house, take down a vampire lord, and knock back a few flagons of mead before bedding a lover, passing out and doing it all again tomorrow.

This might fit a more realistic skyrim too.
