Never thought I'd say the President of Mexico is dead on about the US problem of social decay. Single parent families are horrible for the kids which in turn horrible for society. The numbers prove it 100%

My parents are from the board town of Tamaulipas .. and upon visiting them, I learned that the C.D.G cartel prohibits, position, consuming or distribution of fentanyl on their territory if so, you will disappear that’s for sure . So in northern Mexico, If you want to go out and have a good time, cocaine and marijuana, it’s your only choice.

IDK if I agree w/ the comments or AMLO. It’s so very easy to essentially blame single parent homes, i.e. WOMEN, who are just as in Mexico, waaay too often left no other options. Women are disproportionately abused by their male partners, as are their children, cannot earn a living wage, are raped by their husbands, quickly fall into poverty due to lack of partner support, & very few safety nets exist for them.
I understand that there are some wonderful men who don’t fall into this category—but dig a bit deeper people. Every day in the U.S. wives/partners are either badly beaten/shot by their husbands/partners. So MAYBE AMLO meant to say that U.S. men should get their brains in order???
And for those that are Bible-thumping; no where in the New Testament is torture or death of one’s partner or children advocated. Rather, if so inclined to follow; Jesus taught to love one another deeply. The other books were written by MEN after his death… whatever. But putting the onus for fentanyl use on single parent families is ludicrous, & absolutely (!) Mexicans also use fentanyl!! Duh. And they produce it, & transport it. It’s a global issue. And thus, should be, imo, addressed as such.
