More classic car AUTOMOBILIA?

Automobilia news at OCC! A recent birthday yielded goodies such as a model Renault 4CV, and coincided with the arrival of several large cardboard boxes and an incredibly kind donation by an OCC follower (thanks Roger) of random automobilia. Amongst the automobilia and general classic car related items included a pair of fine old car footpumps, a heated rear window kit, various badges, a Wolseley Hornet grille, boxes of old classic car brake parts, car bulbs and much more. All these items have now been distributed between my garage and my youthful assistant's sheds, so again a big thanks to Roger and indeed everyone that has been kind enough to donate items to our respective collections. It was very much appreciated.
The term "automobilia" was coined many years ago as a catch-all term for any collectables relating to vintage or classic cars (including vans, lorries, garages and the like).
As for the lawnmower, another birthday gift, well that needs a little TLC so won't be adding stripes to the lawn any time soon.

Well that was nice of Rodger to send all of those goodies to add to your collections. Some wood working tools for you to use on your vintage Alvis (when you get it!) including a couple of spoke shaves! If my Dad were watching this he would have shouted out the correct names for those saws being a retired Carpenter, the larger one being a type of Tenon saw. The box with the stone is an oil stone used for sharpening Chisels and Plane blades, called an 'Oil Stone' because you put a generous amount of oil on it before sharpening your tools. I love the model of the 4CV and in colour which just leaves me to say a belated Happy Birthday Rick and thanks for the video, oh and nice little mower too! 👍👍

The 4 CV model is quite wonderful, I have always admired that car, and a very fortunate find indeed, I shouldn't think there are to many of them around these days. Harley will need either a bigger shed or an additional one. A fabulous collection of goodies . It never ceases to amaze me at just what people have hidden away and have accumulated over the years. These donations are in good hands at OCC.

Roger is a true gent; people can be so kind, including all the others who contribute to the OCC hoard. So many of the contents of the cardboard with their distinctive packaging took me back, some of which match my shed contents inherited from my dad and grandad, although nothing like the magnitude of OCC! And what a super little model 4CV. Excellent video - thank you!
