I have seen a similar project, but the entrance to the bathroom was under the stairs and it actually saved space and looked nicer. However, the house was 4 m wide.

This small house would be a great idea for a single grandparent, who wants to live near the grand kids,
but not with them! This way, they would have their own 'space' & not have to pay exorbitant rents! The
only thing is the cost of 'hooking-up' separate power, water & sewerage lines & getting the proper permits!
