Pinkydoll is a FRAUD?! #Shorts

The Internet’s newest big star might be lying. That star is Pinkydoll, and she is a big part of TikTok’s NPC, or non-playable character trend, where creators mimic pre-programmed video game characters that players cannot control. A lot of NPC content happens on livestreams, creators responding with repetitive phrases as they receive tips from viewers. But some social media users claim she has been lying about her age. Right, because when you read, say, the New York Times profile on her, they say she is 27 years old. Outlets like Pop Crave noting that she herself previously claimed she was born in April of 1996, which would make her 27. But the age she previously listed on her TikTok profile is much younger, because while no age is listed now, screenshots show that it used to say she was 19. And a quick trip on the Wayback Machine shows that as recently as yesterday, she had 19 years in her bio. Others also resurfacing a screenshot of a tweet from earlier this year where it appears she claimed to be as young as 15, but it’s worth noting the main lie seems to be her pretending to be 19. So now you have people accusing her of lying about her age and pretending to be younger to potentially boost her following.

I agree with the last comment. There’s a bigger conversation about culture being youth obsessed, especially for females, and discarding anyone deemed “old” in their eyes. Women lose value in the worlds eyes as they age but men become more respected and their earning potential grows.
