I have never heard this beautiful song but something special happened 5 seconds in, on hearing Bruce's voice, I started weeping for my parents who both passed away in 2021 at 87(my Mother Madge) and at 88(my Father Ivor)....I completely lost it...how does this happen with a song I have never heard? As a singer and songwriter myself, this only ever caught me like this once before on hearing a song I penned the lyrics to which took 10 years for me to get released due to a dispute.

This one's for you Bruce and Patti...a gift right back at ya....MESSIAH by HELENA there in the when I first put pen to paper on the lyrics....

Seeing Patti there beside her man just looking at him with admiration and respect as they work together to push something else of sheer beauty like by a couple who have shown the world how to make things work out longer term.

Your songs become more deeply meaningful as you age. That's a good thing Can't say which I preferred, from what 50 year span. Each generation of song seemed to speak to me, mirroring the turmoil or crap I was going through at the time...a few of your songs drew me a bit deeper into darkness, but many more ignited my light within, so it could shine through. Things are meant to unflow in the time destiny has mapped for it. Your songs, for whatever reason, were there the same time I needed to hear them and helped to move me into the light.
I particularly connected to Poppy Boy, Lol. I don't know why but it has taken up residence in my head, I'm quessing for what 55-54. I quess because I love taking those long quiet rides, feeling exactly how the horse reacts to my needs, my body, my feeling, and then my body slowly unwinding so I only feel the horse.
