Madam how much time does it take for PVD to complete. I have floaters no holes but lattice and seeing flashes when blinking. Is it a PVD?

My close one has been diagnosed with retinal holes and lattices for the third time in last 9 years and have undergone barrage laser procedure twice already and this is the third time, doctor has suggested barrage laser surgery. None of the times, the patient had any symptoms. Patient is myopic and has undergone ICL. Number is more than -7. Even after ICL, the patient needs spectacles of -1.75.
Is it safe to repeatedly undergo barrage laser? Can there be complications because of repeated lasers?
