Respect to Henry 'Junjo' Lawes for giving lots of Artistes the opportunity and exposure.
However in my opinion Hopeton Overton Brown aka Scientist played a major role in Junjo's success with the kind of engineering he did on the recordings, which very few mention during these interviews.
It's a proven fact that the sound of the recordings can make or break an Artiste, It even contributed to some Artiste success that was lacking certain things, in a positive way.
The reason why most of these songs are still popular today is because of the mixing/engineering.
Many of Junjo's recording got sales because of Scientist mixing and his name being on the Albums /records.
During that time when I bought records, and I'm speaking for a few other that I know for sure, if Scientist name is on the record, we would buy it without questioning it because we knew the mixing on there would be different from the rest. Lots of credit needs to go to Hopeton Overton Brown aka Scientist and Roots Radics Band.

Brilliant documentary, jungo run the 80, s decade, back in the days in England a documentary I cannot recall now about the black on black violence in England, the presenter showed a photo of a man lying dead on the street named Mr jungo lawes, and not 1 black person knew in the Audience knew who he was, one of the baddest record producers to ever come out the Jamaica, thanks for the upload, RIP the mighty Mr laws.
