5AM Nurse Morning Routine | Getting Ready For a 12 Hour Shift

I'm not in nursing yet but I like the idea of working nights just while getting my feet yet in the first year or so. I can see why new grads get hired a lot at nights (besides no one wants to do it lol). I think the pace of it might be less intimidating, just while I'm brand new. My favorite shift I've had though(non-nursing) is 3-11:30. Granted, I don't have kids. With that shift I got SO much done during the day, I was so active physically, at work there was no management around hardly at all, I still got home in time to sleep and wake up at a decent 8:30-9am. It was so drastically different than the day shift, who were micromanaged and watched like a hawk every second they were there. I've never been an early morning person though!
