Kurt Cobain - Burn the Rain (Extended)
I took Kurt's song "Burn the Rain" from the recently released album Montage of Heck and extended it a little bit. I really enjoyed the version he had made and I wanted to see if I could make it a little longer because I ended up having to replay this short song over and over. I also wanted to try and make a short music video with a bunch of my favorite and more unseen clips from Kurt Cobain.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy.

I think the phone call was voluntary, because if you listen carefully Kurt stops playing BEFORE the call.

this is so beautiful. it really captures how it felt. as a kid, just discovering nirvana, the entire grunge (and alt as a whole) music scene. i always felt ostracised from others, i was just quieter and i got punished for it. and then came nirvana. and kurt's music.
it feels cliche to talk about dead musicians like this, but it's true. there's a lot of fake people out there and sadly i only realised that recently, that it wasn't just all in my head, or that i was too sensitive. i am sensitive. always the one by herself, always left behind, ridiculed when you want to share things, always spoken over, all of it.
no, i'll never know kurt, but i am lucky enough to know his art, and for my younger 15 year old self- that was so precious to hold on to. still is.

His random solo acoustic songs had a vibe to them a very interesting one. A different style I feel that I very much recognize from my childhood that made me feel weird. I could never put my finger on the sound tho it’s seems a bit 2000s ish. I feel that if he had not pasted he would have realeased songs a bit like this and would have showed a very interesting sound to the world. I don’t know what I’m saying at all I just feel like there is something about these.

Man thank you, Kanye and Cudi for this awesome tribute. Also thanks to Matt Reeves, Warner Bros and DC for using Nirvana's Something In the Way in the Batman trailer. I was afraid people might forget one of my favorite bands far too soon. Literally, Kanye and Batman are my heroes. They saved me in 2008 with Ye's 808& heartbreaks album and Nolan's The dark knight. I used to only listen Rock music before that. I was a freshman in college in a small country in East Africa, away from my family, no friends, & obviously got bullied and all. But I held on strong. I got my engineering degree, and Kanye became one of my 3 iconic inspirations alongside Einstein and Batman. I am now in the US, getting my second degree and obviously a master's in Aero. To think that exactly 10 yrs later Kurt Cobain's songs would be used by my two inspirations is just a dream come true. God Bless your soul Cobain. I love you guys. Kanye and Batman forever.
