Laptop PCH Heatsink Mod | MSI GL65

Most of the modern gaming laptops do not have any dedicated heatsink for cooling the PCH, it does get hot while gaming; the PCH temperature trip points are decided by board manufacturers(average around 75°C) & it does affect the speeds of I/O devices to some extent.
The remaining heatsinks were placed on top of GPU memory, I have a cooling pad with 2x120mm fans which actively cool them.
The thermal pads were placed on the wrong side by the manufacturer, after placing it correctly, it acts as a heat distributor taking heat away from controller to the memory banks.(JEDEC specifies optimal temperatures as 40°C for flash memory)

I have tried using my gp-extreme pad just to compare it with the 9448A adhesive, it actually was close to no difference at all, tried with some classic thermal tape as well, no changes. I think it has something to do with the 9448A adhesive on the heatsink being so thin that it actually does some work

Just use thermal glue. It will fill the gap more efficient and transfer heat faster because its thickness only 0.01mm

after you cleaned the heatsinks from 3M, what kind of glue / adhesive/ pad did you aply on heatsinks to be sure they won't fall from the copper at cpu and gpu. Is it stable ?! I mean the heatsink stayed in ther position after intensive use?

will they fall off if I use normal thermal paste ? I cannot find thermal glue for a reasonable price. Will 9x9x5mm aluminum heatsinks work good enough instead of copper ones ?
