The Olpro Voyager taking on 65kmph wind gusts. Hownam Law (449m) 19-20th Aug

I was gifted a Voyager 2 tent from Olpro to test out and review - so I took it up Hownam Law during Storm Ellen. The winds were recorded as gusting up to 65kmph in nearby Sourhope...I was 449m up a hill about a mile away - so I probably got hit worse than that.
Lots of wind noise in the vid but it's well worth a watch to see how well the tent did.
Possibly one of the best lightweight (1.9kg) tents for under £100 on the market at the minute.

Great video plenty of info glad I have ordered my olpro voyager now, looks like a good little tent, soon as lockdown is over I will be out on the Brecon beacons camping which is on my doorstep. Happy days 👍

Tent looks good, but got a Akto and a Phad x3 so can’t justify one ☝🏻

Greetings from JMO. 🥶 Certainly I noticed some whistling of the wind at start which with the inner flap would have made me feel that the wind is significant and at least a bit threatened. But was surprised that I did not here the bang bang bang of fly flap which can be a problem with tunnel tents, so perhaps it is fair to say the voyager coped better than might at first been predicted? But from your earlier reply to me I believe you strongly prefer the olpro pioneer? In any case gear a part, a challenging situation confronted with good humour! 😃 Well done.

Sounded fun in the night and to be fair, I am surprised you got any sleep at all. If ever I camp with you, pleased remind me to never accept anything from you cooking tent did well in that weather, certainly put through it's paces. Great test for the Voyager Donna, its always good sometimes to get out of our comfort zone . But the little tent held out well and you survived the night, you didnt expect any sleep did you lol atb Dave

Hi Donna, I've been thinking about picking up one of the OLPRO tents, they look really good for the money. If you had to pick one would you choose the Voyager or the Pioneer? Two doors and inner pitch first isn't really a deal breaker for me. I'm just interested in which tent performs the best in your opinion. Love the channel. Cheers!

Hi, I see you were using olpro voyager and olpro pioneer. I'm about to buy one of them, but I dont know which one is better? Any advice?
