Not in any way related to GW product, this is a single-run TCG about apocalyptic angels and mortals trying to use the internet to ascend to the plane of heaven.
Yes, they wish to use the Internet to escape this world....
Is this 4chan: the game?
Could this game be used to simulate a simp's quest for the 2D?
And did they invent The Matrix back in 1995???

The world may never know.

--- i probably got a lot of info wrong, but based on a re-read of the rulebook and my memory, this is what i got.

I had Heresy, X-files and I still have double pack of Rage. And I bought here, in Brasil, in the end of 90s.

I have a lot of these cards stashed away. Loved the art. The guy at my local shop literally refused to sell more than one deck or booster a day because he thought it would be so big. He lost out on a lot of $$$ in the end. Bought a number of boosters at a steep discount. Literally refused to sell to his only customers when the game was gaining traction. Smh

I was always curious to see how this game was Actually played. Thanks! (pretty klunky mechanics.) I have a complete set stashed in a binder somewhere (including the misprinted RESEARCH ARCHOLOGY card), due to the art and the uniqueness of it. Always had the inkling to fan-fiction this lore... "someday". Maybe I'll make it an audiobook, and add it to my own channel.

I've had a box of boosters and 2 starters since it came out. The artwork is the best. Even after watching videos, I still can't figure how to play. The rulebook seems overly complicated and 52 pages! And you're right, the font is so small.

As for the “matrix prophecy” being used in this game to describe the internet/cyberspace. That was first coined/used in the deadly assassin 1976 or maybe even doctor who origins. So Heresy weren’t the first to use in this way.

Oh yeah, forgot to say. I know secrets man wasn’t meant to know. That card back is ‘Kult’ my friend. Fell victim to the 2 year curse as did many. But great game great memories. Takes me back lol.
