I really loved her episode in series two and in my opinion, the song at the end was the best song in Skins ever. That's why I wanted to share.

The thing I love about Skins is that it's so real and unmasked. What you see on the screen, no matter what it is, you can always find something to relate to. Something you've experienced yourself. It's not all sparkly and glittery and fake like a lot of teenage shows. The characters could be your friends, people at your school. It's just so real.

I miss skins so fucking much especially the first genaration. Cassie's story did a huge impact in my life and i don't even know how to cope life after skins ended. This song, i listen to this song when i feel depressed and it makes me want to run away and escape.

Here from 2024. This song still feels the same as the day I listened it for the first time. It is so simple yet so sad. The sound cracking, the amateur instrumental record, the simple but powerful lines…they always get me. “this is my city” what a powerful line that puts so many emotions in a short sentence. you live so many things, lost so much of yourself but gained too, you cried your heart out while walking the streets, you kissed your first love in that city and lost him in that city. that coffee shop that most people would find ugly were the place that you took your pregnancy test and trembling while trying to stay calm. this coffee shop will be closed down in a year but that place will stay as being yours. you took so many buses in that city while listening songs looking out the window. this is your town where your belong, your hiraeth, your comfortable hell. i don’t know. this is just so sad. i sometimes hate being so sensitive

This episode is always been one of my favourites. I watched it again tonight right after i got heart broken. So i cried a lot watching it. Specially when adam left a note and just gone like that. I know they were just met but i knew how lonely and desperate cassie felt sitting on that bed reading the note and crying. Its just so hard to explain the feeling this series makes me feel. And the mark it left
