OH MY GOD I literally don’t have enough words for how excited I am. Been waiting for a quality recording of this chart ever since I saw the ladies showcased on finals night in Lousiville 2023’s BHS finals night!! I got to see them perform this again front-row at an encore performance in Cleveland this summer and got a recording but I’m screaming and hyping them up WAY too much to be able to truly listen and appreciate all the work they’ve put into this chart. I could go on literally all day about all the magical moments in this song but other comments have detailed so much of it already. The drama!! The energy!!

There’s something to be said for the narrative the Ladies built for themselves at International this year - coming out on semi’s night like absolute BADDIES and owning the stage with this crazy number, only to turn around Friday night and display some real GRIT and vulnerability with a heart-wrenching ballad. If that’s not a winner storyline, I don’t know what is. SO thrilled to be able to watch them earn a silver medal this year!! If they keep this up, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing them earn a differently-colored medal soon enough. BRAVO!!!!
