Thanks, Dora… for all you’ve done and continue to do for table tennis. 8>)

I love the attitude she had throughout the game. Never frustrated, just having fun even when she lost important points. She seems so much powerfull and bubbly at the same time.

I only discovered this channel a few days ago, and I binged a few, especially the Japanese family. But this is simply better ping pong. Her foot work is superior, she moves with purpose, always has a plan (or two), and despite her quickness on the ball, she fluidly slows the pace down when advantageous. I've played a lot of bangers on the PB court who can't reliably transition from their habitual hard and heavy spin to an easy dink into a wide-open half-court. But Dora is so proactive with her footwork, she can channel both gears on demand.

Very few of the other opponents on this channel could force Adam to respond in attack mode, and then keep enough pressure on him that he finally misses the table long. Adam's strong suit is keeping the ball in play, whether he has to crouch, lunge, dive, or spin. Dora managed to walk him off the back of the table (i.e. finally hitting too long) by punching a series of hard, low balls right up the gut with superior pace and precision. Some of the other opponents on this channel persist in hitting smashes that many of their other opponents can't consistently return, barely seeming to comprehend that Adam is almost in cruise control on this diet, like a snake swallowing an entire pig that seems far too big for the snake, but somehow it fits.

Unlike many of the others, Dora instantly starts feeding him off-pace dribblers after his deep snake crouches, and Adam soon calculates that he's in for a world of thigh burn if he lets her continue to work him up and down.

In the NHL of yore, there were goalies who used to open up a fake hole, and then snap the leather when the sniper targeted the fake hole. Some of the snipers just couldn't help themselves, and they would keep shooing in futility at these fake holes. But Dora would have had this figured by her third shift and soon the goalie wouldn't be confident whether she was going to snipe at the fake hole or not (especially with her fluid ability to lay off the pace at the last second)—leaving him uncertain and out of position—and then pretty soon he'd be shutting down the entire fake-hole ruse.

That's what happened to Adam here. After bagging Capone, Eliot Ness decides to put the entire _Kill Bill_ Deadly Viper Assassination Squad out of business, and the snakes don't stand a chance.

I think this match was possibly my favorite to watch so far. Great rallies, power, and proper wizardry :D

This was the most enjoyable video I've seen of yours from the game perspective. Dora is incredibly clutch and played much better when she was behind. The fact that she gave up some points that last game and came through hard when she was down made this content really exciting!

I met Dora a few years back at an event at Spin in NYC. She was such a sweetheart - gave me some really excellent coaching tips and also gave me a copy of her book. This video was epic - go Dora - you're amazing! [Also, subscribed!]

My favorite thing about this match, in addition to the incredibly entertaining rallies, is how Dora would compliment Adam when he'd win a really tough point. "Very nice. Good job, that was great!" How wholesome can you get?

This was a perfect storm: 1) The Pingpod concept is a strong business model for truly bringing table tennis into the realm of popular sports at a high level 2) Dora authoring table tennis-specific books that are not just about strokes or table-play and 3) Adam stepping it up a notch to promote and widen his audience.

Love the fact she's writing about the psychology of table tennis -- it's a much more a cerebral game than many give it credit for, and mental toughness is a key component to success.

Adams style is definitely a rhythm breaker, he keeps changing the pace that would shake most players up that are trying hard, it almost seems like he’s not trying, but his precision and accuracy with his arsenal of different strikes and counter attacks is crazy, even if he’s extremely outclassed here

Another great match to watch. I have said it before BUT this sort of match is MUCH more enjoyable (in many ways) to watch than say the top matches of the top stars.
Some great LONG rallies and an impressive array of different shots.

That backhand flip kill at 6:36 is amazing. Like watching Kreanga.

I can't even imagine how well Dora would play if she didn't take time off for school - so amazing! Looking forward to following her play

The way Dora played table tennis against Adam is just so inspiring. I've never seen such a great talent in a long while. I was in awe watching Dora played the way I was awed as a kid when I watched Michael Jordan played live against the Utah Jazz.

Gorgeous backhand, Dora. Very elegant. Killer Forehand also, very consistent. Always love Adams defensive game.

her style reminds me of Mikael Appelgren, a former player in swedish national team.. consistant, with a lightning fast return and, if needed excellent placement of the ball. one of your best opponents so far
