1930 Model A Tudor - Cold start, test drive

Out on the road in a sweet old Ford 55-B Model A Tudor, finished in two-tone Chicle Drab & Copra Drab, with black fenders.

back in the 90's my grandma lets me drive her old Model A to church

Double de-clutching is a must so you dont grind the already worn out gearbox

Back when I was a kid, a lady lived near my house who was rumored to have an old car . I got up the nerve to knock on her door and ask her about it, and she took me into her old storage house out back, took me in and uncover a 1927 model A that her father bought her new.
She told me that she and her father took a train to Detroit in 27 to take delivery and he taught her how to drive it on their way back to Mount Pleasant TN. The old car was completely original, and she said it hadn’t been driven since 1949, when her then Husband bought their first new car: an Oldsmobile. Said she could never part with the Model A because her father had bought it for her as a High School graduation gift, and she drove it to college.
Needless to say, my father tried hard to buy it from her, but said she’d already promised it to her grandson in her will.
That was in 1969.
I’m now 66, and this is the first time I shared the story online.

That is a really nice ford model a but dude those seats look so comfortable I would love to ride in one of those for a road trip cause I bet it’s so easy to sleep on those seats
