Hi, I have a problem, after I installed xamp and symfony to the folder, which on this video, I tried, to run the config file, but for this URL: localhost:1337/projects comes nothing. As I see in my xampp next to APPACHE I have different ports 80 and 443, how can I solve this problem. Thank you for this tutorial.

Could you tell me what to do with the "default timezone" ??
I'm using WAMP (and I'm in Australia), and it doesn't seem to like very much that ...
I get a "MAJOR PROBLEM" called : 

Major problems have been detected and must be fixed before continuing:
Set the "date.timezone" setting in php.ini* (like Europe/Paris).

With that warning on top of page : 
Warning: date_default_timezone_get() It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Australia/Melbourne' for 'EST/11.0/DST' instead in on line 441

And i can't seem to find that particular function ....

i modify my php.ini on apache/bin folder, and keep getting this recomendation: "Install and enable the intl extension (used for validators)."

im using WAMP.

hey, great tutorial, i just have a question if you can give a hand with it i'd really apreciate it, so the thing is that i'm installing it on a mac mountain lion and the main problem relies on my php.ini, i modified it and is not gettting the intl.dll updated, then i did go to my: private/etc/php.ini and modified that one as well, and i'm still getting the message telling me that i have to intal the intl.dll. it doesn't seem to be working smoothly :( hoe you can help me out. ;)

what about in xampp.. i used it..
have i to do is like you? because i have error when follow the video.. after i enable intl in xampp>>config(php) and restart it.. come up the pop up "the program cant start beacuse iccuc49.dll is missing from your computer" and "php startip: unable to load dynamic library 'c:\xampp\php\ext\php_intl"
please help me to solved this..

Installation instructions on symfony website is just scrap. It is just dumb that a framework cant clearly give a complete guide on how to set it up. You can tell it is a major problem from the amount of views this video has. For those following this and not using localhost, just comment out the lines in /web/config and /app_dev.php with header() and exit; and it shoud all work.
Advice. If you dont have to use symfony for your project, switch to Yii or Yii2. It is way easier to learn and just as powerful
